Upload Your First CSV

What You Need

• A CSV export from your cryptocurrency exchange
• Your exchange account (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin, or Bybit)
• 2-5 minutes of your time

How to Export from Your Exchange

Binance

1. Log in to your Binance account
2. Go to Account → Trade History → Spot Trading
3. Click Export All (or select a date range)
4. Choose CSV format
5. Save the file to your computer

Coinbase

1. Log in to Coinbase
2. Go to Accounts → Select your account
3. Click the ⋮ (menu) → Download
4. Choose date range
5. Download as CSV

Kraken

1. Log in to Kraken
2. Go to Settings → API
3. Create API key with "Query Ledger" permissions
4. Or navigate to History → Trades
5. Export as CSV

KuCoin

1. Log in to KuCoin
2. Go to Account → Trade History
3. Select date range
4. Click Export
5. Choose CSV format

Bybit

1. Log in to Bybit
2. Go to Account → My Trades
3. Select Spot Trading or Futures
4. Click Export
5. Choose CSV

Upload to TaxFormatter

1. Visit taxformatter.com
2. Click or drag your CSV file into the upload area
3. Watch the AI Insights panels appear as we analyze your data
4. Review the flagged issues
5. Download your formatted file (named binance_formatted_2025-12-27.csv)

What Happens Next

Once uploaded, TaxFormatter will:
